Default VX300 Special Edition

Hello All ;
I just received my VX300 in the mail Today from Carey at gas-powered-helicopters . It looks Great . I can't wait to get my Break-in/Test stand built so I can get this thing in my Goblin Gasser .
I have been chatting with fastflyer20 (Tom) and Doug Darby on the specs for the stand . I just have to get a few things , and get started on it .

Thanks to Carey Shurley and Toxic Al for bring this motor to all of us .
Karl

Fantastic!

With a break in stand, set the needles extra rich, lo 1 3/8- 1 1/2, hi 2 - 2 1/4
It literally can't spool up past 10k, that's good at the start.
First tank do not go past 1/3 throttle. Tank 2-3 do not go past 1/2 throttle on TX.

Without a test stand, I recommend first three tanks be run on the ground with no blades following the above info.

Thanks Tom for the Advise . And Doug You are Special in your own way .

Well guys , It was a boring winter day here . A wintery mix of freezing rain ,fog . We haven't seen the Sun in almost 3 weeks .

So I don't know what made me do it . But I installed the New VX300se in the Goblin . Everything worked out great .
I got to say (this is for Doug ) I am really going to miss my polished motor that I had in it before . There was something about a Shinny Motor , that made it worth just looking at it . And polishing it after every day out at the field . Even the Hatori pipe I was running on it . But with the new RJX Mod Pipe being black . I guess I will have to find something else to polish .

I have got 3 tanks run thru it so far with no main blades , or tail blades .

The Low needle is set at 1 1/2 turns out , the High needle is at 2 turns out . So far , so good .
I am using the Lawn Boy 2-cycle oil , at 32-1 on Coleman Fuel. I have good smoke from the exhaust at idle and 1/3 throttle . Just waiting for the cool down right now . So I can run an other tank thru before installing the blades , and adding a little bit more load on the motor . One step at a time .
The run time on the first 3 tanks have been just under 20 mins. with 3-4 mins. at an idle , 3-4 mins. at 1/3 throttle .With 2-3 mins cool down before shutting off .

Just a short vid of the running on the 3rd tank . nothing special just running on the carport floor .
