Default Setup my Brain 2

Hi,

My setup and fly great, but wanted to check with you guys.

Main gear ration 11.333.
Poles: 6
ESC setup 'fixed wing'.
Gov Speed 1: 2000,
Speed 2: 2400
Speed 3: 2850

Should I install gov rpm signal (smart esc do not have rpm wire)?
What do you think about my rpm setup?

I did my first fly today, love it!

A little confused in the info provided.

You state you have the esc in fixed wing but donít have an rpm wire for external gov.

Are you trying to run gov in the esc or the fbl?

Is this the stock ESC or did you upgrade it to an Avian?

I am setting up the ikon2 on my fusion 360 with the ikon gov. I get a nasty tail kick in fixed-wing mode on the hobbywing. I switched to heli linear which takes care of the tail kick but I can also use the ikon governor. I think this is the best option. The only downside to doing this is it adds like a 5 second delay to auto-rotation bailout. But I don't think i'll be attempting autos with this small a bird anyway.

Why not run the hobbywing gov? Itís very good.
Running FBL gov is more work for less performance.
