Default Duplicate VControl radio for same heli?

Can 2 different radios connect to same heli/Neo (ie.moving heli between office and home, keeping a radio both places).
Are various gain settings, etc stored in radio, or actually in Neo ?
Thanks

I believe that you just need to bind the radio to the Neo/Vbar each time you change radios.

NEO stores everything.

Just bind to any VControl and it will fly with all settings preserved.

Things not stored in the Neo include;

Switch positions
Modes
battery log?
macrocells
custom screens
installed apps

It seems doable but it may be easier to keep the radio with the heli.

It would certainly fly.

This is one of the greatest design ideas in VControl... all settings for a model are stored on the Vbar.

This probably doesn't get mentioned enough when comparing radios.

Default Bind with different (duplicate) radio ?

Trying to remember--won't a VControl bind (every time) to a Neo without having to insert a "bind" plug into Neo?
Thanks
(I have more than 1 heli with Neo, that I will be moving back and forth, so it might be easier to have a radio both places. Most basic model in stock at Mikado is listed at 700 $ ?)

True....

The bind plug is not needed for binding, just use that for updating your NEO.

A very easy simple task.

No Problem - it is just bind&fly.

All the setup of the model (VBar flight setup and Makrocells) are stored in the VBar.

All the setup of VBC (Sticks, switches, screens) is stored in VBC.

In General - no Apps are needed for bind & fly another model (e.g. i can fly a VPlane w/o VPlane App on my VBC). The Apps are seperated from the essential TX function.

But - of course - e.g. having U/I sensors etc. it makes sense to keep both VBC's installed with the same Apps.

Having Battery logbook - set up everything (all batts) on VBC#1 - and just copy the complete folder through USB to VBC#2 at the end.

We are doing this very often in my local club here - just model sharing for fun or helping someone with a setup question.

Default 2nd Radio --ordered--Copy Setups?

Thanks--having 2nd Vcontrol delivered to office (carrying random helis back and forth--need a radio both places at all times).
I believe I can load a setup file for each model from the original VControl to a PC, and install in 2nd radio?
I can load/save in PC, but just curious--is there a certain file extension name (type) for these setups?

The setups are stored in the Vbar on the Heli itself - no need to load them on VBC (only for backup purpose). After binding a heli the data can be viewed and changed through VBC - but are stored in the Model.

We are different here from all other radios - so we have "real" bind&fly ;-)
