I've been flying MA gassers for several years and I have not had one break while flying. Vibrations would be suspected in this case.

Do you have a cross brace on the boom supports?

It could be something as simple as a bearing on the torque tube glued in the wrong place causing harmonic vibrations...seen this before! It could be anywhere but, I suspect it is in the tail section. Check the tail output shaft, make sure it isn't bent slightly. Another thing to try, change the head speed by 50 rpm's. If there is some type of harmonic vib, it will change.

Alrighty,
Checked the torque tube and the bearing cup was dislodged from the holder.
Reinstalled it with jb weld this time. Hopefully it won't move.
Will fly this afternoon. See if I notice a difference and will post.
Thanks for the tips guys
kind regards
D
