Default 406d power supply question

I waslooking to upgrade my charger as my collection uses so many different lipos and I would rather fly than wait for bats to charge.

My current charger is an ac/dc () charger and does not require a power supply. I purchased the 406d and I'm currently waiting on delivery. I started to look for a good power supply but my friggin head is spinning from all the options. My max charge scenario is 2, 5000mah 6s lipos on 1 channel and another (maybe second) on the second channel. 2c charge rate is my max.

Would this PS fit my needs: Power Supply I think it will, but being new to power supply's and DC charging, I'd rather ask those with more knowledge than I. It is 12.4v. 85a, 1025 watt and can not be connected to a second supply. Iv'e read posts where people recommend higher volt supplies (24v), with less amps as being good, but the one thing remains is that they recommend 24v supplies, hence the questions. Any help or advice (especially layman's terms ) is appreciated!

Less amps is good. But there is also a limit to the input current, 60A I believe which will at 12V limit the total power to approx 720W. Half what the charger is capable of.

Therefore if you want to use the full potential of the charger a 24V supply is required.

What is a 406d? I use two deep cycles for fast field charging.. only need 1 pack for each heli. Saves $$.

For home charging (or generator at longer events) I use this (the 24v)
