Default 6 Channel 2.4G transmitter compatibility

Is the 6 Channel 2.4G transmitter which comes with the HBK3 2.4G compatible to any other brand like Spektrum or Futaba?

Dunno about the Futaba...but certainly not to Spektrum. Spektrum is DSM2 technology and is fairly unique.

And Futaba uses FASST 2.4g technology so again unique I'm afraid.

Seems each of the r/c players has developed their own approach to 2.4g.

Only JR and Spektrum that I know of who share but then rumours are that JR owns Spektrum and is using the Spektrum brand to iron out any niggles before badging everything JR.

No. Every 2.4 GHz brand has a proprietary technology, they are not compatible to each other.
