Default How to connect a Orange R615x to Naze 32

Hi guys, so here is my problem. I have been running Spectrum 6110e Rx on one of my quads. I now want to change it to a Orange r615X, so that i can later on just use cppm one cable. For now it is still wired as normal. I bind it to the Tx, but get no arming or movement from the receiver tab in Baseflight. Tried it with 4 Orange Rx's. Is there something i need to set in Baseflight to get it connected. If i put back the Spectrum Rx, everything works again. On this quad i am using a DX6i, but will later put it over to my DX 9. Thanks in advance.

Is there a checkbox in the setup shop for that move in baseflight? I know there it's one in multiwii. I just tried it on mine and my sub trims were off on all the channels, and didn't seem to center up especially on yaw. One click either way on sub trim would be 4-5 numbers.

When Im running my 615x I run the CPPM wire from the data/bind port to the 123 Naze Ports. Then under the setup tab on Cleanflight/Baseflight I click the PPM input box. From there its to the receiver tab to ensure that everything is working correctly and on goes the tuning.

Im not sure why you would wire up a 615x with all the wires like a spektrum as it is seriously easy just to wire it with CPPM. Plus less wires involved and tuning is cake.

Thank you for the reply - still no go, i plug in the cppm wire as described, then power up, Rx flashes for binding. I then bind my Tx and power down. When i power up, it goes into bind mode again, any reason why ?

If its going back into bind mode it would be because the signal and ground pins are connected. So somewhere in your system you must have a short

Thanks Cpl Woody, i am a idiot. I thought the pin layout was the same as Spectrum, so my signal and negative was the wrong way around. I turned everything, and you know what, it works brilliantly. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

You got it. That is usually what always happens to me. Some little plug or setting.

Old thread but newbie with a question.

What type of model are you setting up in your transmitter for these quads?

I keep getting jumbled channel output orders on my dx9 using the 615x Rx and acro naze 32.

Tried it this morning. Still no luck. Any links to how to change/reassign the channels so that they match up?

I have already switched the reciever setting to spektrum/jr. Not sure what else I need to do. I'm clicked the ppm box in the configure tab too.

Any ideas?

Are you using PWM or CPPM?

Well, I test flew it today. Just a hover and it worked. Problem is now that I had to power the orange rx with a receiver pack. Is this normal?

Is this not getting power from the Naze board at all?
