Default Future Graupner support for other gyros?

Not necessarily. The protocol for any of the pre-existing sensor modules is available from Graupner. It has even been implemented in open-source controller software; I've messed with it some myself. Note that the 3DIGI is addressed on the telemetry bus as a General Air Module. That doesn't equate to Graupner expending resources.

Agreed Alan, Seems like Dirk just made it happen himself.
Either way glad to see it happen. Had one (3DIGI) when i was still flying Jeti, flew fine.

I do take issue that he made it emulate a GAM sensor only. Since HoTT only allows one module of each type on the bus, that limits options for real modules. Even the third-party Unisens-E module has options for which sensor module type to use among three types (GAM, EAM, ESC).

Anyway, I'm veering off the topic a little.

Does that mean the other telemetry like temperature is out?

Only with a General Engine Module or General Air Module, which shard the "GAM" telemetry designation. The Electric Air Module and ESC "module" also support temperature telemetry.

So if you use the 3digi hooked up to the telemetry port on the receiver can you use a y cable to also use telemetry from the esc?

Brain 2 Graupner integration should be out this week, if not next week.

We're to release candidate stage, so it shouldn't be long. There will be no support for alarms in this first release; that will come later.

To get the best experience with all receivers, Graupner will have to release the receiver firmware that's now in beta (6.39). The update not only speeds up the menus for Brain integration, but for all other module types. For example, setting mAh thresholds in my Graupner ESCs was a frustrating, time-consuming job. After installing the beta firmware, it's quite speedy. Holding down the INC or DEC button now does what I would want: the value keeps counting up or down and accelerates the longer you hold the button.

I look forward to that update! I am using the 3digi integration and the menus are super slow! I know it has already been maximized on the fbl side but the transfer rate is like a snail lol

On the MZ-24 pro and Brain2 during setup on panel 5, how do you change the "current setup 1, 2 and 3" at the bottom of the panel. I want to activate it to my S3 switch.

Go to the advanced settings in the Brain app and find which channel the setup selection is assigned to (channel 5 by default, I think). Then, go the BASE>CTL Set menu, tap on the channel number, and flip the S3 switch (direction doesn’t matter). The S3 switch will then control that channel. If the switch control is backward, just reverse the channel in the BASE>REV/SUB menu.
