Default Another self leveling & gov question

I use AUX2 for both flight modes and bank switching and my setups look like:

normal mode & bank 1, gov off, SL off
idle up 1 & bank 2, gov on, SL off, 2100HS
idle up 2 & bank 2, gov on, SL on, 2100HS

As you see I only use a governor speed actively on idle up1 & setup 2.

I've reserved idle up 2 & setup 3 for SL.

Does this setup look OK to you? I feel I am missing something.

Yes that should work, normal mode to spool up (asuming nitro / gasser), IU1 for flight and IU2 for self level.

Just one precaution if this is a gasser, please test SL with motor running without blades and check the swashplate movement. If it is slow it's OK, if it yanks to any direction, the SL will not work properly due to vibes and you're in for a surprise in flight!

I second what Helibenj have said.... and go up high enough to test self level, and be ready to turn it off if something goes wrong.

Mine Brain self level just does not work on my gasser, same for a friend with an Ikon, even on my electric it's very sensitive to vib.
