Damn that video. You know I've been eyeing up all the smoken deals on the old 700Xx but now I'm not sure anymore. I also have so many stick packs for my goblin that would work perfectly with the new 700.

I'll say this: I've participated in the creation of and critiqued many competition style music flights over the years in preparation for world class 3D competitions, and I've watched many, many more performed.

Additionally, it takes a special type of creative and technically advanced pilot with lots of practiced talent to fly well to music.

With all that said, after watching Mirko fly that routine to that music, all I can say is WOW!!!

Thats what all the pilots were running for months. They were using the CF bottom frame for demo and testing flights because the molds for the plastic bottom frame were not finished.

This could be tempting. Am I right in saying this would be the first plastic fantastic with split upper and lower frames or did Synergy do something similar?

After building my 690 I can see why the split frames are going to be a big hit. The 690 has to crash horrible with 4 tiny nuts holding the gear on. One hard hit and you're replacing the entire frame.

I aver did my reservation on my french seller.
As ever Mikado bird is going to be as ever on top.
I got a lot of kits, but Mikado are from far my favorites.
I flight every days with a 700xxtrem and a 550SX, just perfect,
nothing to much, just in the right proportion, The next 700 will be excellent.

I'm STILL pondering how I can make my own saddle pack lower frames for the new 700...

I got a pretty good look at Kyle's heli a few weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it is possible.

The only advantage I see with having saddle packs is if you can load batteries without taking the canopy off. Otherwise you might as well make up stick packs

Fair enough but you should be sure to fly pack pairs equal number of times on your 550. Otherwise they will age differently
