Default Xpert R2.........?

Wanted to ask about Manufacturing of the Xpert servos.
Basically Protek has servos mainly for Rc car/truck/buggie. Ect.
IMO are really good servos. So this question would go for anyone who may have personal experience with Xpert. Or maybe a team pilot.
Are the Xpert R1/R2 servos the same manufacturer as Protek?

Have not confirmed the R2 vs Protek but it does look the same and I think its the same.

The other coreless Proteks are Highest RC and thats not the same as Xpert.

Gotta say...i'm probably never going to take advantage of the performance these servos have to offer but damn I love the quick release cables. Allows me to fearlessly cut them to length. Need to keep extra cables handy though in case I screw up.

Xpert is the core manufacturer. The latest Protek servos are indeed re-branded Xpert R1/R2 servos. Xpert is a super high end state of the art servo. So it's a good thing they are Xperts. :-)

Taking advantage of their capability - Well actually there is a huge variation in quality, reliability, and the servo driver design between the manufacturers. Xpert is ahead of the rest of the industry by a good margin at this point. Every pilot relies on the reliability and build quality. Pretty much most servos have similar speed/torque these days. But Xpert has the innovation, quality, precision, and consistency many others lack.

Servos are good "longer term" hobby investments as well. They tend to travel model to model over time, and last through many crashes, and usually some number of years. So it makes no sense to go for the cheap junk that's advertising top speed. But in the end severely lack in reliability and consistency. And certainly lack the innovation.

I tried to find some in Europe but xpert-rc didn't reply on the email of ep-fun. So think I have to look at other servos. But they look nice.

I'v been testing / flying the Xpert R2 servos for a while now, I would definitely purchase another set for sure. They perform exactly as I expected and sure exceeded my expectations.
Zero slop and make setups a dream... Should have looked into these a while ago.
I did get a confirm that protek uses the Xpert manufacturer but we all know everyone rebrands just about everything these days.
Overall I a very happy camper

Just bought a set of R2 and R2T for my Trex 600 after the BL815H fried for no reason. Im really looking forward to checking these out. I prefer to buy top end quality when i get things as in many cases you end up paying less. Hope these will stand the test of time.

Can highly recommend RC-batteri.no for European byers. Mr Fauske is a good guy.

Only problem I have now is - When I fly some other heli's with lesser servos they feel like complete sluggish crap in the air.

I'm horribly spoiled now. And have to rip everything out for these servos. :-O

I wonder if they will ever make an "R1 style" servo in the micro flavor. I know they have other micro servos, but I don't think they have the same features as the R1.

They have some extremely advanced micro servos. Maybe the best out. But the price point is too steep for what the market will bear. Hopefully Something in the $60 is in the works. But if money is no object.. :-)

So if Protek 270's are exact copies of the R1's, then there is not disadvantage to buying Protek at a cheaper price over the Xperts? True?
Am keen to make purchase but don't want to spend $150 bucks more just for branding if possible? Cheers

Edit: Just re-read OTS post above, differing servo driver, and the specs are a touch different, I'll get some R2's
