Default Still flying (and crashing) well in 2015

My whiplash is still holding up great. I crashed it pretty bad a few weeks ago, so here's a picture of it back together. It feels like I'm working on an old Harley now since we (at the moment) can't just go online and buy parts. Fortunately I stockpiled enough to keep fly this bird for a long time. I'm still very happy with this heli. We can start to say " they don't make em like that anymore" and mean it! Now maybe I'll have time to clean my garage lol.

Still flying mine. I picked up a 800 mm blade conversion kit and converted a spare Ex. Still my favorite Heli.

I read your post on that from January. Did you end up with the 115 tail blades and somewhere around 750 main blades? I have a logo 800 and have switched back and forth between 753 blades and 813's. I finally decided I like the 753 size better for that machine, though the 813's are nice as well. The shorter blades are more agile to me, at least on my logo.

I am running 813s and 115s. The person i bought the conversion kit from had both sets of blades and made me a great deal. I need to try shorter blades to see how they are.

I've put about 20 flights on it after the re build, and its flying better than it did before the wreck. It's flying perfectly, and I'm glad I still have it. The only thing I'd like to figure out is how to reduce the gear noise. I know the EX model is quieter, but I don't know why this is so loud. I've used dry lube on the gears, which didn't help, and I don't know what else to do. I don't remember it being so loud before, so it may be that the gears need to wear in yet. Still, I'm very happy with it.

The whiplash is loud, but I stopped caring after a flight or too. Performance is great!
