Dansy Registered Users Join Date: Apr 2013	Main Gear Shimming Got myself a R5...started putting the mechanic together...I got a question. On page 15 about the main gear shim...there's not enough space for either the .9 shim or 1.0 shim....but they have included 2x 0.1 shims that are not in the instruction, I installed those 2 but there more play then I would like.....anybody run into the same thing? Do you have any up down play on that gear how much is requires or acceptable? UPDATE; Found my mistake didn't see the glover on top of the gear at first....all is good used she's shimmed properly __________________ Daniel...many flying planks.....Goblin Urukay Red/White, Gaui R5,G380 KSE Yellow/Blue G380 Stretched and G420 XNova JETI DC-24, MKS Servos, Ikon2/Brain2, Axon, Kontronik, XNova Revolectrix/MeanWell PS, DPL8, PL8, 2x XP10 and Bump Contr's.
