Shilling Food Chalenge 2017

The US Nationals/IRCHA are less than a week away we must all be thinking about this event!

Knowing Mr. Shilling, I'm sure he is working very hard in preparing for this annual right of passage. I hear he's flying pretty good too!

The Shilling food challenge was first introduced by Scott Gray and Tim DiPeri many years ago as a bit of an opportunity to wind down just after the US Nationals. They wanted to find out who could pick a food that would not be consumed by Dwight Shilling (long term F3C competitor).

They agreed that the "food" needed to be made for human consumption and had to have a bar code on the label.

We had our very first (total) winner (containing a food that Dwight refused to eat) in 2015!

Anyone wishing to enter needs to have their product issued the day of the final flights of the Nationals. We have never had a tie but the first one that can send him to a level II (or better) trauma center (several in Indianapolis) will automatically be crowned the champion.

I have quietly herd there are entrees being shipped from countries I've never herd of before.
