Default Radio location in a Bell 47 G II

What is everybody doing with there radio gear in the Vario copters. My Bell 47 is allmost ready to go but I am concerned about the radio gear so close to the spark plug and wire. Not a problem in my Vario 206 with the large fuse. But with the 47 there is no where else to put it.Also 2.4 or pcm?

Thanx Terry.

Locate your gear under the cockpit floor. That's what I saw done with a most of the 47 G's at the NATS last year. I have my gear under to floor on my Huey not too far from the front of the motor. 2 years in and no problems.

If u run a shielded/supressed plug cap you should have no problems

You also might want to ask this same question on www.scalerchelis.com in the Main Discussion section.
