Any one still looking to buy Agile 5.5

My LHS has sales promotion on the Agile 5.5 for a combo set (only lacking a receiver and battery) with few extras thrown in at about USD 760. I am thinking of taking a plunge but am aware that this model is about 3-4 years old with minor change not long ago (i.e. V2). Other brand (e.g. Align) have come up with new models since Trex 550 L (i.e. Trex 550X) but more expensive than the Agile .
So I am wondering if its still a good buy for the price. I don't fly 3D so this combo set is perfect for me since the electronics are just adequate for sports flying or light 3D. Any one still buying them?

That Agile 5.5 is a very solid design in my opinion and a very good flyer, has not needed any improvements. I wouldn't have an issue purchasing it unless spare parts supply is an problem.

Paul, thanks for chiming in. Good to hear nice things about the 5.5. Must admit that the discount is very tempting to me but I may hold on a little more as in the meanwhile I have few other helis to fly and may be the price could even come down further. If the shop sweetens the deal again, I think I'll take the plunge.

I'm looking at a 5.5 as well as I wouldnt mind a heli that I can use my 4A to 5A lipos in for sports / big air 'stooging around'.

Just wondering though how strong KDS is going as a brand?

Hoping that there is still a good supply of parts particularly as I do have a slight tendency to need the occasional repair!

Parts supply will be staying strong. The Agile line isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
