Default Hail Mary Pass - So the NAZA M is SLOW!

I have this major issue with the NAZA M lite...

The quad is super super slow to climb in ATTI or GPS mode. (I mean like 1 foot every 15 seconds... Ridiculously slow) and it takes nearly 80% throttle to hold it in a hover.

That said, turn it to manual... Its crazy fast. Actually really capable.

What if anything might I try to have it gain altitude more normally? (Like say 1-2 feet per second?) I'm not expecting it to punchout to the Gods, but to raise a foot or two if I spike the throttle 100% for three seconds.. I'd expect to be ideally 6 or 10 feet higher than I was before the spike.

I'm willing to change just about anything. Any ideas welcome.

Hey Gunny,

Is it a stock Naza Lite or has it been re-flashed to V2?

Sorry, but if it's stock, I don't know how to help, as I've always re-flashed, so I have no experience w/ the Lite software, but it almost sounds like it's hitting the first low voltage warning and limiting power output. What are your voltage warnings set at and are you using 3 or 4S batteries? Any LED notifications / warnings from the LED light?

PS: Reflashing is a worth while step. Gives the Lite all the bells and whistles of a V2 and the enhanced V2 software.

AWESOME! Will look into it... (Yeah no options.)

Hmmm so this is a hack... It's likely to work now, but the lite will likely break and revert or lock itself in the future. (Worked perfect with v4.02.. Now surprise! 4.04 detects a lite serial and klobbers it!)

Thanx for the feedback. Certainly won't be "upgrading" to V4.04 now that this has been disclosed.
