Is that carbon boom the same part number as the Vector? Also from the looks of the frame it seems to be a larger version of the Vectron 520 instead of using the Vector mechanics which means it's a single stage gear train?

I'm not a big fan or carbon fiber and aluminum skids because I fly off pavement and asphalt a lot and CF or aluminum skids get trashed in a hurry. Will the plastic RJX skids for the Xtreme line of helicopters fit on this or are we stuck with the CF ones?

You could easily line the bottom of the skids with split silicone nitro fuel line....or get the SAB skid pads.

I wonder what the pricing will be like? The 'full fuse' version of the Vector is pretty much priced out of the market IMHO. It's attempting to retail at a much higher price than (say) a Goblin 700 Comp (at least in this part of the world). It looks like a very fine heli but i don't think RJX has the kudos or brand loyalty to compete at that level, at least not yet.
Hopefully the Sport will come in at a much lower price point.

The Vector full fuselage is priced similar to the Goblin Speed so I don't think it's priced out of the market. It's limited edition so they're not trying to compete with mass market kits. The Vector fuselage by itself is around $400 so the Sport should be much cheaper...hopefully it will be price competitive with other 700 class pod and boom kits which is around $750.
