Nice deal on the Scorpion 160. Straight across trade? Both my 700 and 750 have one. I love them. Come down cool as a cucumber almost always. Gov is ok, but if you have a Vbar or Spartan, etc, fbl gov it works really well together.

Straight across trade. I had to repair it first though. The Rx signal wire was loose from the controller board in the ESC. The only thing keeping it in place were two or three strands of conductor, and the glue Scorpion uses as strain relief. Once that was fixed, it fired right up, and I could program it.

As soon as I can test it in the heli (Waiting on the UBEC and Opto cable), I will be sending a 30 flight old Talon 120HV off to the person I traded with.

I will be running it with the Spartan Vortex and eGov.

After a couple weeks of No Fly, a perfect Sunday morning to go flying, 30 degrees at 8 am, but sunny and no wind.

Fly- two flights on the 360cfx, three flights on the 230s, two flights on the Visionaire (I know it is a plank, but in my defence I spent quite a bit of the time hovering, harriering, or doing maneuvers that require stirring control inputs).
Buy - my nano cps finally came in Friday, winter is coming, and won't get many more days like this. Like it so far, much less twitchie than the nano CPX, better piro comp, very easy to do fast or slow piros, and keep them flat. Needs a brushless upgrade like the CPX got.
Sell - I still can't get rid of my GWS Dragonfly.
Sim - no time on the computer, but the 230s has so many safety systems it is just like simming.

Sim: 20 minutes yesterday testing DX8 after I fixed a glitchy pot
Sell: Tried but someone backed out on a Guai X5 for $100. Not sure how that didn't happen
Buy: Oh did I ever buy...........Yeti DS14, 3 R3 REX Rex's, 2x 200 amp MUI sensor and one 75 amp MUI sensor.
-and now I need to buy Protos 380 parts. Crap! Broke all the crap I didn't have.

Fly: 3 packs on the Oxy 3. 4 packs on the Goblin 380. One pack on the Goblin 420. All helis are running now under iKon governor. The Oxy has been re-maidened as I took the electronics away to finish the 420 and come Xmas I got new electronics for the Oxy. Also a BK tail servo instead of a fourth KST 215. Flew amazing at 3800 after battling with some issues. The Goblin 380 first flight with Zeal mains and it does feel floatier and more agile really liked it. The iKon governor may also have something to do with it. The Goblin 420 had a loud grinding noise in the tail. Took it apart and I think it's the shaft being a bad length and causing grinding on the tail fin flanged bearing and the tail pitch bearings/pin. So the 420 was just hovered and the second battery I have for it went for a 4th flight on the 380.

Buy: the tail shaft and parts to get my Blade Inductrix on the air again. Mostly for indoor fun and relaxing flights with my son.

Sell: nothing. Fleet is complete no need.

Sim: not much lately. However my focus is all orientation and directions figure 8's. After going through all orientation hover training and getting it to a stable, relative confidence level, I need to work on the rudder movements which I hope will give me all the basics I need to keep progressing.
