Anyone know if the software is similar to Castle's as far as gov/headspeed settings?

Looked through the manual, saw pictures of the software. Looks like you do not enter in target headspeeds like castle, can anyone confirm?

But who cares when an external gov is always 10x better? :-)

Brain gov is incredible, but sometimes there are setups that might require the esc gov.

It still has a internal governor if you want. Just set a flat throttle percent to get the head speed you want.

Thought so. My favorite software for the past few years has been castle...mainly because that is what I've used for years. Much easier for me. The new scorpion software looks great though. Maybe they can add the headspeed portion one day.

Looks like you can mount 2 fans. Probably meant to change position for fitment purposes but with a y-cable... I'd try out a 120 on a 700. My current HW 130 has been flawless other than the start-up/ afw bug.

I have fans coming. Yes looks like you can mount it in two different positions.

I usually use zip ties and velcro to mount my ESC's but the manual says:

Mount the ESC with the Heatsink side of the controller facing
outward. We recommend using “Scorpion Fastener” to attach
the ESC to the airframe for easy removal. Double sided tape to
gives extra fixture is also acceptable. If zip ties are used, do not
place them over any of the components on the ESC. Instead, zip
tie around the metal heat sink, leaving some slack to allow for movement.

Maybe double sided tape and a strap would be better.

Do you only fly your 700 on 6s? 😀

Didn't realize it was 6s only until after I had posted. Hopefully they'll release a smaller 14s capable esc soon.

Hanging out for the 14s version, need it now!

Adding ESC integration to the already perfect Vcontrol system will be magic
