I have checked that.

Don't you mean the opposite? Spektrum is positive expo for a softer response around center and Jeti/Vortex are negative like Futaba for softer around center.

Sorry Steve I didn't see your post.

I think it's so easy it gets complicated again. Haha. Having a Spektrum radio and running Spartan I always have to double check as they are reversed.

In all my exlerience Spektrum seems to be the only one that uses positive values that way. Everyone else seems to go negative. When i first flew a Vortex it made for an interesting first flight. Default expo came ul -50 so i changed it to +50. Not a fun maiden. haha

Yeah, I bet that maiden was a bit of a roller coaster.

Any luck sorting the tail out yet?

So.......:

End points on Yaw in the Jeti to 80%. Jumped piro rate in the Vortex to 600 from 500. Still a little slower than before but not no problems felt during flight. Very happy guys. Thank you so much.

Feels weird though having to make the rudder feel like it did on the Spektrum.

Glad to hear that you got it sorted to fly the way you like with 80% on the endpoints in the radio, and upping the piro rate.

Out of interest, does that give you 80% at full travel when looking at the Tx set up screen on the Datapod or Spartan studio?

Not sure. I didn't look. I would assume so. I did look at the radio and it shows less travel. I will check the Datapod Tx screen.

I think it should do too. When you select EX BUS I found that it sorted out all the channels to their correct assignments and 100% on the Tx was = to 100% on all channels on the Datapod Tx screen, no further Tx set up required, but I'm just curious if reducing the endpoints to 80% equates to 80% at full throw.

Yup. 80/80 in the datapod Tx display as you suspected. Makes sense.
