Great Sim. Works fine on Vista, used Xbox controller with a bit of mapping and calibrating, still had realistic feel.

I'm gonna download it tomorrow. I just spent 3 hours playing heli-x on the big screen via hdmi. Sure was fun with the demo screen coming up every 10 minutes lol. Can't wait to check it out.

I note that the documentation shows this running on a *very* old version of Linux, has anyone tried it running on a newer version of Ubuntu?

Any chance that someone has the setup file and can share it with me / us? I've searched but couldn't find it hosted anywhere else.

The original website doesn't seem to exist any more and even thoug I was able to view it using the internet archive it doesn't have the download stored.

Can use your normal rc radio with it buy using an old FMS lead & and adaptor to your phone. Good for beginners.
And if you clone your phone image to a TV screen, it looks reasonable.
Rubbing you fingers on the screen is not so good to get accerate flying.
There supposed to be little joysticks that stick on your phone screen[maybe better]
