Default Another AR7700 BD3SX Question

I haven't had time to install my 7700 yet but a friend also bought one after I told him they are being recommended here. Using a DX9 and we can't seem to get the channel assignments right (for tab 2). Thought it would be a quick fix in the radio but it won't let us reassign the channels that are wrong.

My next guess would be the channel assignments in Tab 1 of the software. Could someone please post a screen shot of tab1 if you are using the DX9, or any ideas of what we are doing wrong.

A little background is I run 5 BD3SX's with AR8000's and he runs 3 of the same setup also. As I add another heli I just copy the model in the transmitter which saves a lot of time programming the mix's (to kill the cyclic during rescue)
This worked great till we got to the 7700 and like I said, channel assignments in the radio aren't getting me where I need to be.

Did someone recommend it for the BD3SX? I think it is being recommended for the Axon. However, 3SX does have PPM as an option.

So.....
Are you connected to the PPM output port on the 7700?
Did you select PPM on Tab 1 under Connection receiver?

Then you can sort out the channel assignment below that on Tab 1.
Verify on Diagnose.

I would leave all the channel assignment in the TX at their defaults. Look at a blank model if you moved them around and don't know the defaults.

The default channel assignments after you enable PPM on Tab1 are Futaba assignments. The Spektrum channels are
1- Thro
2- Ail
3- Elev
4- Rudd
5- gear
6- aux1 (flap)
7- aux2 (spol)
8- Aux3
9- Aux 4

So you have to change Tab1 to match this list. If you have your TX assignments at default, then it should work.

Yes DemonJoe and several others recommended for the BD3SX as well.

Thankyou!, that's what I'm looking for. I'll keep plugging away.
