Default Mojo 280 Question

I just got a aerialfreaks mojo 280 and I'm getting ready to set it up and in the manual it says, esc's 2,3,and 4 need the red(+) wires removed which makes sense because you don't need all 4 bec's feeding the flight controller. As I was looking it over I noticed all 4 esc plugs have the red wires still in place. Has any one else noticed this and did you remove the other 3 red wires or just leave it? Shouldn't they have been removed from the factory?? It's not hard to remove them but just seems like if they are selling it as an arf this should have already been done so you just have to add your reciever/sat calibrate the Flight controller and go.

I have another question for any one using a spektrum sat on this quad. Where did you mount it to get best signal coverage?

I didn't remove any of the wires and it works fine. Also, I mounted my satellite on the bottom plate in the front of the quad on an angle. I've been pretty far away with no issues.

Pulling the + lead on all but one of the ESC's is a good practice. If the BEC in the ESC is a linear BEC you can get away with not pulling the lead. But if they are switching you can have real issues.

Yea I pulled the positive wire from the other 3 esc's when I had the cage off to wire up my video transmitter. I mounted the sat on the side of the cage just behind the camera mount. Not sure if I like the placement but haven't had any issues with range. Now I just have to figure out why I'm getting a clockwise spin every now and then and sometimes after giving slight yaw inputs.
