Default Tail control rod ends

If like me you have a recent Synergy helicopter, you will notice that Matt is now including CF rod ends. Well the thread is 2.5mm and the rods looked pretty close to the TDR tail rod diameter! Well actually it is identical and the outside diameter slips easily through the boom guides, how good is that, made for the TDR, stock is SYN-305-311
I had spare TDR rod so made one up whilst waiting for my new kit, you have to trim 9mm of rod off one end to account for the shoulders on the rod ends.

I'm really not interested in selling anything.

Maybe a few people would like to pitch in and then we could each have a small stash to take care of our needs.

My last run of 500 pieces was about $230 including shipping.

Minimum 100 pieces per color, so 1 Red, 1 Black, 3 Yellow.

I believe the Shrink ratio was 3:1 around vs. 10% long so the graphic needed to be elongated to 270%

The $230 covered 100 sets of 5 shrink wrap.

If a few people went in with me, I'd be willing to take care of making the order and sending the wrap out.

For now lets see if we can get a few people to go in on a batch for Henseleit.

Since I suspect my TDR will not be my last Henseleit heli going with "Henseleit" on the shrink would make the most sense. Especially with a dedicated speed heli and another new heli coming they should be a little more general purpose.

FYI, I made these an identical size to those that come with the Kosmik wiring set.
The graphic is offset to have enough to room shrink around the bolts and not effect the graphic.

I actually cut the ones on my Banshee because I was running short runs of wire.

Yup, totally overkill and stupid! Just getting my Heli Freak on

Those embarrassed to express interest are PM'ing me and I will protect their identities to avoid ridicule.

Hell, I PM'd Mark about it, but not out of embarrassment. I was just trying to keep the thread on topic.

So JRay, Old Hippie, Maizer, otavion, myself and I "think" RJ

That would be 6 of us or about $40 each.
That would be 16 sets of 5 each. I'll use the extra .66 sets and cull out any with printing issues.

USA JRay, Old Hippie, RJ
Puerto Rico otavon
maizor Norway

Let's verify this list, see if we have any more takers and I'll find out what shipping costs to Norway and Puerto Rico are and we can can get this going.

Is this split enough ways that everyone on the list is happy?

It looks like all parties are in.

I'm going to get the artwork together, confirm the production cost, approximate delivery date and get the shipping cost before I ask anyone to PayPal anything to me.

I'll IM everyone when I have my ducks in a row.

You are on and someone else jumped off, so we are still at 6. I'll give everyone a cooling off period for a few days.

That would be 14 sets each instead of 16 and drops the per person cost to something like $35 + S&H.

Unless someone complains I have no problems adding up to 3 more people for a total of a 10 way split and 10 sets per person. If it goes past that than I think we may want to start increasing the order. 10 sets would let you outfit a few helis and have some room for cutting the shrinkwrap off a few times.

I'm good with up to a 10 way split, any more, and I might want two orders.

Otherwise it might not be " totally overkill and stupid! "

I've got shipping costs, but I still haven't created the graphic and gotten a quote for the production run. We are either at 7 or 8 people.

In the US $3 should cover it. Internationally $14 should cover it. APO should be the same as in the US, except with required customs forms.
