7 years ago I tried to get into rc helicopters and it didn't last long for lack of knowing where to go and who to talk to for help and explanations. Now I have been stuck here in Finless Bob's Helifreak Tech Room for my second day watching videos, taking notes, and reading pdf's as well as some other post. .

I AM SO GRATEFUL YOU GUYS HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO SHARE AND HELP US LESS FORTUNATE ENTHUSIASTS GET INFORMED.

I have a couple drones . . they dont do it for me. . might as well be flying a ceiling fan. and I have a micro CP as well as a duplicate of my first heli e-razor 450 3D I bought used and crashed off of ebay(which I've found out mechanically is a TRex 450 SE clone). So at least I have been able to get a bird big enough to get me off my ass and out of the house to go flying. I AM already looking at better quality 450's and larger models but due to spinal injury and limited income, cannot afford much at any given time. At least this time I know I can do this and enjoy it thanks to what you all have shared here.

Good on you mate! I've been at it around ten years, still doing only the simplest of flying (circuits, figure eights, the occasional loop) and still enjoying it. We're not all cut out to be wild 3D pilots. So take your time and enjoy the journey.

I'm just comeing back in to helicopters after a disastrous first attempt about 6 years ago. What a great resource this thread and site is, shame I didn't find it a few years ago.

I'm currently on a research mission, not wanting to make same mistakes again, back to the learning curve then.

So I've tried everything to open the videos but just get the "cookies" error. Are the videos no longer available?

Same here. I'm not able to open any video, problem with cookies, even after cleaning everything. Is it common problem?

It’s been doing that off and on for weeks. Was fixed for a while.

FWIW, when I first encountered the problem (was on my PC at the time), I found that it would work on my iPad. Just checked on my iPad and was able to save to Dropbox and then watch with no problem.

Maybe that will help as a temporary solution for you.

I too am having issues with viewing the videos, having cleared cookies and even tried a different browser. So you are not alone I am afraid.

The owners of the site recently switched to a new server and managed to completely screw up many of the sites functions both here and over on RCG and many other sites they own.

I would suggest you let the Admin know over in the site issues/suggestions forum so they can let the techs now about the problem. This forum and its videos are from 12 years ago and gets very little traffic. I doubt the Admin will ever come here to see your post so its possible they have no idea there is an issue.
