540 flashing red with JIVE but green with 2s lipo. (resolved)
The SK540 initializes to green with a 2s lipo.. but as soon as I use the Jive BEC (5.5v with 2 cables) I only get flashing red... and if I switch back to the lipo again its green.
I tried the master and slave Jive cables one at a time.. they are both routing power from the Jive. Ideas? It seems strange as the Kontroniks usually have good clean power. EDIT: Could it be low voltage alarm I wonder... going back in.

Nevermind. I should have thought it through a few more minutes. I disabled Low Voltage alarm and it's working.

Ugg. I hate wiring. Haven't even gotten close to setting up the Skookum besides binding it and a few initial steps before I built the heli. Still figuring out the Goblins boom and belts and tail servo wiring. Oh well. Certainly no rush... -0F temps and winds coming the next 4-5 days.

There have been a few that didn't realize this and burned out servos during the build and setup. |

Yep I did the 540 initial setup without the servos in and then centered the servos before putting the horns on. It's all good!

The closest hole in the supplied ally arms is about 18.2mm out, and the manual calls for 15-16mm. I can get the correct setup using the plastic arms, but I'm not using plastic on this heli. Thanks! |

The best arms for the Goblin 700 (and what most use) are these. Perfect geometry and perfect balance between strength and breaking (in a crash). They are made of a special CF material.. not sure exactly.
