Roban (Aerodyne) 600 Rescue UH-1
Hi, Having just finished my first scale build (FunKey JetRanger on Trex 550) I am keen to try the Roban (Aerodyne) Rescue UH-1. Has anyone tips for this build? In particular what motors have been used, kV and diameter?
I have a single 6S battery setup in the JetRanger (which is 600 scale although called 550) and this works fine giving flight times of 7 mins on my 5000 batteries. Would this work for the 600 UH-1 based on a Trex 600 Pro? I would like to avoid the complexity and additional expense of multiple battery setups if possible - and also have no wish to fill the 'scale' cabin space with batteries. How have others solved this? Hope my ramblings are understandable. steve |

A 6s setup should be fine. A friend of mine has the same heli, and it flies fine in that configuration.
However, I read about a few bad experiences with the raised tail on that machine - unless they have fixed it by now. I suggest you look for those posts first. |
