Default Trex 450 Pro V2 tail servo

I am just curious if anyone is happy with the 520 on the tail? Mine seems to be OK but nit as good as I would like. I have a Futaba 9257 but I would like to stay with running 6 volts and I dont think the Futaba would be happy at 6 volts. I am running a Mini Vbar and the tail holds pretty good with the 520 but there is def room for improvement.

Try a MKS 8910A+. Fast and accurate.

Yeah that seems like the servo that everyone raves about. I might have to pickup two of them and strap one on my 500 EFL too.

Been running the 9257 at 6v for over a year now. No issues at all.

I just replaced my 9257 with the MKS 8910A+ about 30 flights ago and it really is God's gift to 450's. Running the mini vbar and MKS DS95's on the cyclic...its one awesome bird.

Hands down the best Tail servo I've found. Picked up a used one last week. And have to say, I've enjoyed it so much I can't stop flying the little guy. In a week I've flown the 450pro 60 times! Hell I didn't fly it that much in a month with the ds520. Took about 4-5 flights to get the beastx dialed in. After that it was on! Even after the 60 flights I'm still amazed at how well it performs. In my eyes MKS is one of the best servo brands you can buy.

Is the MKS 8901 A+ a bolt pattern & height match to the standard DS520 tray, or did you have to mod it?

Anyone using the JR3500? I'm trying to fit one and it's quite a bit smaller. It should be a good performer, so I'm going to try it but wondering how others have mounted it.
