Default ZIPPY "Flightmax" 4500mAh 45C or "Compact" 4500mAh 6S 35C LiPo Pack?

How's it going guys / gals? I'm getting ready to order up a couple more batteries for my Goblin 500, so I'm looking to you guys for your help. I'm currently running Pulse LiPo Ultra Power Series 6S 4100mAh 22.2V 45C (PLU45-41006) batteries, and I want to try something else.

Based on SAB's information, the max battery dimensions for the Goblin 500 are 52x53x180mm.

The batteries I'm looking at are:

ZIPPY Flightmax 4500mAh 45C (145x53x50mm) – http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...h=Zippy%204500

ZIPPY Compact 4500mAh 6S 35C Lipo Pack (163x46x44mm) – http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...h=zippy%204500

It looks like either one would work, but I wanted to get everyone's thoughts. I know a few are running the standard size ZIPPY Flightmax 4500mAh 45C, but is anybody running the "Compact" version?

Any and all input and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

The compact zippys are a bit like the nano-tech turnigys, they are severely overrated AFAIK. I would not use them on a heli, they will likely puff.

I'm running the regular zippys and I love them.

I have been using the 45C 4500s, and I think they are a pretty solid battery. I also use them in my 6HV(3000s) for a year now. The C rating seems honest, and they fit the Gobby5 well. Great for mild 3D and big flying. Around 30 flights on each of my 4500 packs, and over 100 on the 3000s.

dbm,

No puffing issues at all? I have also been considering the Gens Ace batteries, and the puffing I have been hearing about the HK batteries is making me contemplate them more and more. Let me know. Thanks.

No puffing, and I don't take it easy on them, either. I don't fly as hard as some, but I make it up with my irresponsibly high charge rates
