Default "cell error voltage invalid" But the cells seems fine.

Hello Heli freak.

Maybe someone can help me with my battery question.

I am trying to charge my 3S batteries to my blade 180CXF and I get the message " cell error voltage invalid " on my charger.

I have a hobbywing multi function box that can read the voltage in the cells and battery.

On the batteries I have nearly the same numbers it reads voltage 11.1V and the cells are all around 3.7V

Maybe I can fly more on the batteries before I can charge them so the voltage goes lower but my helicopter wont get enough power to lift with one of the batteries , I never had problem charging the batteries before.

Are you plugging descharge leads and ballance connector or only one of them?

I cant understand what are you trying to tell in your last sentence.

It seems like your charger isn't seeing the voltage from all cells so it thinks one cell is out of range. Is there a problem with the balance connector? Is it plugged in properly? 3.7V should not be seen as an error.

I had this happen on one of my old chargers,.. the 3S balance port wasn't working properly anymore,.. upon plugging into the 6s balance port, all was fine,. BUT,.. be sure to plug in to the correct pins if using a diff port.

If that works,.. you could pick up a cheap balance board, that plugs into the 6s port,. and has multiple ports for other cell counts.
