Default Canopy/battery help

Silly thread I know, but I am sort of at my wits end with this thing and battery and canopy harmony. No other system I own do I have to fight to get a canopy on.

I'm assuming that the Pulse 6s 1350 is a very common pack for this heli? This is what I have. If anyone using these could please tell me your tricks for getting the canopy on that would be awesome. Label up/down, pack on side, wires up/down, all details please.

I used to not have this problem so much until trying to put the canopy on the dinky tabs that have the grommet just popped right through and had to ditch the canopy (stock msh canopy). The brand new stock one I have been trying to use isn't being as cooperative and have just been flying naked to avoid the frustration.

It's ashamed that one of the better flying helis I own has to be this way.

Move the canopy mounts forward so they thread into the antirotation guide if you haven't already. Still a little tight but not bad

Also helps if you can get most of the wires and connectors on top of the lipo instead of crammed up in the nose of the canopy

Agree with LTHW - moving the canopy mounts makes a massive difference without any down-side. I also use a Fusuno canopy which is slightly bigger (I think).

I'm also using Turnigy 1300 6S which might be slightly different shape - but fit easily.

Thanks, I guess mine were already moved. I thought that was the original spot. I will try shifting wires to the top.

I was having no issue with old canopy, placing just below the vertical section at top of battery tray and having wires to the bottom. And they are both stock canopies. I have on order from a Fusuno a new canopy, hoping for a slightly easier fitting.

Picked up a Fusuno and Lynx canopy. Much better for battery fitting. Makes my life much easier.
