Is anyone working on naze32/ccd3 code for heli?

I have been flying helis for 6 years now but recently I've started playing with multirotors. It seems to me that the popular multirotor flight controls have equal or better hardware than almost all of the flybarless controllers out there. And they're open source code.

Is anyone working on making a heli specific firmware for these things? Seems like a no-brainer to me. If I had the skills I'd have a go myself.

I have a cheapo eachine racer 250 quad with a cc3d flight controller and it feels as precise and locked in (probably better) as any of my fbl gyros.
You can buy a cc3d for $20. Not even my skookum540's or beastX gyros fly as good as these things!

I really hope someone is working on heli code, It will be a new frontier of flybarless flight. Gps waypoints, return to home, auto-level, altitude hold...

Sport and 3d flying is great fun, but our helis could be so much more with the modern hardware that is available these days.

I thought the same thing and was contemplating putting a cc3d on my oxy3 but never got around to doing it.

I have fiddled a bit with this but as there is no built in support (wizard)
for helis one has to rely on the forum for direction.
I didn't have much luck, you may have better coming from multirotors.

I actually have a ccd3 revolution mini with GPS on order that I intend on testing on my old 450 pro.

I'm just testing a simple ccpm mixer on spracing F3, written by me. The Heli could fly but not very stable.

Please let me know if there are other codes or tests for betaflight on Helis. The vibration filtering of betaflight is much better than openpilot in CC3D.
