Default DX7S D/R and Expo adjustments

I've been wanting to ask this Q forever. If I'm missing something, I will sure feel dumb.

OK. When you're powered up and flying, and in Stunt1 mode, and then you set down and switch back to Normal to spool down - as far as I can tell there's no way to change the Stunt1 D/R or Expo values WITHOUT turning off the heli (disconnect batt), since you have to switch to Stunt1 to make those changes! (Which means it will power up FULL since I'm at low stick). I have the Normal/Stunt1 values tied to the FMode switch, which is my preference.

Thank you.

What about Throttle Hold? If you have it configured correctly it should keep Throttle to zero regardless your FMode switch position.

Agree this makes perfect sense, except on this radio, when you flip on THold, those become the values you are adjusting - again unless I'm missing something...

You're not missing something. In order to make changes to the D/R and Expo settings for a given switch position, you have to flip the assigned switch to that position. So yes, that makes things more interesting when the assigned switch is the F Mode switch.
