Going to Jeti from JR
How complicated is the Jeti coming from JR. My JR radio is pretty easy to navigate. I have a JR 9303 radio with a spektum module. Hooking sat receivers in to the brain2 and getting everything configured and working is pretty easy. I've looked at the Jeti manual and get a little overwhelmed. Is it easier when its in your hands and running threw the menus.
Also, as a first time Jeti user, what else do I need to buy to hook up to brain 2 and fly. I don't want to buy the radio and find out need other stuff to get it to work. Help is greatly appreciated. I've only heard great things about Jeti. |

Once you've setup a model or two it's really easy, but like anything it takes you a couple of goes to get your head around how it all works.
The manuals are excellent, but a little overwhelming when you start. I put together a beginner's guide which might help with setting up your first model. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=733826 |

I did come from JR to Jeti and found it a little overwhelming till I let go of JR way of doing things and learned the Jeti way.
I have found that the sooner you let go of the "old" way of thinking, the faster you will be at ease with Jeti. I loved my JR but I could not be happier that I switched because Jeti has no limitations but your imagination. With the Brain2 you really do not need any special Rx as with other FBL but I would still advice you to still get the REX receiver as they are the same price and offer you more flexibility than the R receivers if need be in the futur. For now REX7 is the best choice the REX3 is not available yet in the states. Do not forget to get the switch tool if you do some switch relocation or swap.
