Default Need help with the windshield and Logo

I'm ready to apply the windshield and Logo to my canopy. I have watched the video. I am not really sure what or where to buy the squeegee applicator. Some thing about vinyl applicator. I need one of these to give this a try. Sick of flying a bare canopy.

You can use a old credit card to squeegee the soapy water you use the apply the windscreen to the canopy take your time the first time it's tricky once you get edge in place you will need to use a heat gun to pull the vinyl past the mid point on the canopy.

I used a kitchen tool

Enouf water gives you enouf time to stick the windscreen like you want.

The letters i put on dry...so no water.

A super cheap bondo plastic paddle also works well.

Here is the video someone made a while back, on how to properly apply the wind screen. I didnt have a heat gun, but used my wife's hair dryer.

As RuudM mentioned, I would not use the liquid for the Diabolo letters. I tried on my 550 and it was a disaster. Only for the windshield. And yeah, I've used credit cards, or more specifically hotel room key cards to apply vinyl decals for years. Just so the edge is smooth and won't snag. Otherwise I'd go to a local auto parts store and get a bondo squeegee or look at the window tinting supplies. A somewhat hard edge should glide over the surface better than rubber, but some flexibility is good
