Starting a Thunder Tiger A109
Well it took awhile but I finally found a TT A109 fuse. Yea
Won't be here until the end of the month though. So now I have to pick some mechanics. Probably a 700 but did some research and there's at least one out there that's using a trex 600 with longer tube flying on 6cells Any thing with a torque tube would work as they are easy to modify for length. But what about Goblin? I just fished a Goblin 380 build and love it. My first belt drive...and with the spring loaded tensioner easy to set up. Also very quiet. After the fuse gets here I'll be able to measure the dimensions at the end of the tail to see if there's room for the Goblin cf tail boom to exit. But length mods might be a challange. Thoughts and experience on this...anyone? Thanks |

My guess would be that the doghouse on a A109 might be too narrow for a Goblin mechanics since they are quite wide across the servos.
They fit in my EC-145 OK, but many 600-700 sized fuselages are too narrow for them. Colin
