BLADE 400 3D BUILD VIDEOS
SOKAL"S Blade 400 3d Setup vids I made these video's to help and share my findings and knowlage ive learned of this RC Helicopter. Im not a pro at video and never will be but iv given it my best attemp. My videos do not and will not over ride Finless's videos. his videos are very good and full of valuable information. my vids just help relate it to the Blade 400 for the beginer and novice pilots out thier. Disclaimer. Info provided is based on my experience with the Blade 400 take it as for what its worth but it is at your own risk. ( i promis i will not lead you wrong, hate to see one not flying). BASIC FLIGHT THEORY HOVER, APPROCHES AND DECELERATIONS ........more to come tapeing/editing Head setup NEW Part 1 (servos/Swash); Part 2 (Washout/flybar/blades) ........... more come tapeing/editing TAIL SETUP NEW Part 1(PULLY/BELT)

Sokal, on a side note. When you add vids (update) the first page to keep all your vids nice and neat and in one place. It will not show up as new to us. So, you should post a seperate thread just saying sticky vid thread updated or something like that, just FYI
Didnt know if you knew that or not, so I thought I'd just throw it out there. |

That works too, LOL.
Just making sure you knew if you edit the first post it doesnt show as new to the rest of us. Cant thank you enough for your time and effort (even though I have not watched the updates yet) will do in the morning. I thnk my paranoia about the belt is subsiding, BUT I know it will come SOON so if you can put the belt replacement on your list, I would appreciate it. |

Okay I watched the tail vid and I have questions.
1) if you were just replacing the belt ONLY would you still have to remove the main and tail gears, main shaft to get the belt pulley out? or would it be possible just to get it loose enough just to slip the belt over it without removing? 2) I'm assuming the bearing you removed that you had to split the case does not have to be removed unless it needs replaced, yes? I think thats it for now.......but that does clear a lot up. Thank you. |

removing the gear is not hard just remove the bolt at the bottom and disconect the servos from swash and shaft and head to swash will come out together then push out main gear and tail gear. and you dont have to split case unless you have to replace bearing
