Default Bad motor??

Newb question here,

I've had the pleasure of piloting a Storm Drone 6 (V2) for over a year with appx 60-70 hrs of flight on the frame.

Last evening I took it up and in a 20' hover with no wind it immediately yawed to the left. I got it down and walking up to the 'hard landing LZ' i'm smelling an electrical smell, No smoke though.

Here's the set up;

x6 TH-2212-V2 Brushless Motors (930 Kv)
Devo 8 tx/rx
Tarot T-2D Gimbal & GoPro
AVL 58 TX centered on top
3C 216kg battery

C/G is centered and good.

I'm sure I've blown a motor and have ordered spares. The question is while the multi rotor's on the bench should I be inspecting on anything else?

Thanks for any related stories / comments...

Check the ESC's also. Since they control the motors makes sense to inspect them. On the rest of the motors you may want to check the bearing for free movement and make sure the bearings are lubed. I use Tri Flow. You can snag that at most places like Auto Zone.

Personally while on the bench I'd check the other motors, and escs. Well, me, I'd be checking everything. But if you had a motor go down and it's had that much flight time then it would be a good idea to check the others as well. Just my thoughts.
