Default Hello with my hitech x1

I've had this Lil charger for a couple years now. I've only owned 500 class birds and smaller. Recently I bought 450 dominator (6s) a trex 500 (6s) and my Lil 450(3s). So I'm working on all these birds and need to put my batteries in storage. Almost Every time I use this charger to put my lipos in storage the next time I go to charge them one of the cells in my brand new batteries is bad. This is getting expensive. Could it be my charger? Or just bad luck?

If it's happening "all" the time, I don't think it's bad luck. I have about 30 LiPo's, receiver, transmitter, and main power batteries, and I use a Duo 406. I put them in storage mode after every flight. I have "never" failed to charge one up after being in storage. I also don't let them go over three months with some type of action on the battery.

Is is the same cell that goes bad? What actual voltage does the bad cell read? Are you able to check the IR's while charging?

Just trying to narrow the issue down.
