I still have mine. Multiple kits. Believe most parts are still available. Nothing wrong with the Vibe.

Sorry haven't checked in in awhile there DCFlyer. I have many orphaned helis now. Two Avant Auroras and three Avant Mostros.

Flower power! Nice I like it. Looks like a successful day of flying. How do you like it FBL?

I still can not believe how much power loss the flybar brings 😲. Soo much power right now. Though i still have some tweaking to do on the spirit fbl and i have some vibe issues that i have to eliminate. I was also thinking of upgrading my motor (kme .60) carb to the os 55hz carb. Rc japan has it in atock, now i just need the info if the 55 carb is the same dimensions as 50 carb and then im pulling the trigger.

Edit: Also need a new pair of blades, runnig the old FB edge atm.

Another great weekend. Had some problems on saturday with vibrations, so i changed gyro pad. Working ok-ish now. But my skid came loose, it was on the ground though

Also tried to richen up the engine. Didn't notice any power drop, and now its smoking like crazy, i like it in the morning, the whole valley was covered in smoke

An awesome flying mate was cleaning out his garage and gave me this new sealed kit. I don't know much about it but I am keen to build a nice classic.

Decided to update my Vibe's electronics during the winter months to complement the new OS55hzr. I fully rewired it and also replaced links, tail case components and installed new gears and bearings in the mainshaft blocks. Should be good to go for this season.

Removed from the machine:
-DSM2 sat
-AR7000rx
-Microbeast
Fromeco voltage regulator
-5200mah Lion battery
-JR 8311 / Futaba 9252 servos

Replaced with:
-ProModeler HV servos. Coreless 215oz cyclics and Brushless tail.
-AR7200bx
-DSMX sat
-2500Mah Lipo

Cleaned up a bunch of the wiring and also added a Spektrum backplate sensor as I plan to run the machine governed this time around with the change to the AR7200bx. Should be much stronger.

Also looking forward to trying out these servos. They really seem like very high quality units for a very reasonable cost. They come with excellent stainless hardware which I used instead of the old and tired screws. Looks much better. Lastly, replaced the servo horns with Secraft units. New swashplate installed as well. Good to go.

Had a little crash last year (needed to replace the skids, nothing more - glow plug came loose in the flight ) and it really bummed me out for some reason. It was the same day that i also crashed my protos 500. The motivation for flying helis was really down, the winter was coming and i just found more and more excuses not to repair them both. Until today. Got the parts for the vibe in the mail, i was soo excited . Should be a fine weekend, pictures incoming

More fun with the Vibe this weekend. Its night and day with this machine now that its running 2250-2300rpm governed, OS55hzr, and Cyclone 615mm blades.

Did you try RC Depot? Not sure if the Vibe 50 is planned for parts support.

No more parts stock really. If you find anything its going to be left-over inventory and limited at that. Let us know what you're looking for in particular and maybe we can help track it down.

Thank you for your replies.
I have 3 vibes 50's ready to fly ( 2 with OS 50 Hyper's and 1 with a YS 50) and quite a few spares but I ready need 3 main shafts, and 2 tail booms, so I can have 3 complete crash kits.
I have 2 extra feathering shafts, frames, grips and many other parts that I doubt I will need. I shortened the Airskipper 50 tail boom to fit the Vibe and works great but I really need an alternative for the main shaft.
Does anyone know of a current production model with a compatible main shaft? I will be willing to go FBL as long as there is fresh supply of parts.

Still actively flying mine. Rebuilt the motor couple months ago but haven't had the time to break it in yet. Its still one of my favorite machines to fly.

Default Converted vibe 50

Thinking of selling my fleet, I have a Logo Exxtreme 700 and my converted vibe 50. I haven’t flown in about 4 years just because health reasons.
When I converted this vibe I wanted to be able to use any stock replacement parts off Og vibe 50. Though I incorporated the E8 helical main gears and using custom kamasa FBL head with custom arms.
Futaba 750, 8717 cyclic, 8900 jr tail, kontronik 80 HV.
Flys insane on dual 3300 6s.
The frame is 2mm carbon fiber designed and cut by me.
Make offer, Thanks.
