I finally decided not to go with the cnchelicopter 4 blade tall...the company says it will be ok at hi speed. I wont take the risk of flying that $1500 bird with a loose slider like that. Jeff at XM Hobbies accepted to refund me.

So I installed the oem align 2 blade tail system.

Yesterday I did my maiden flight. With the weight of the body, the scale blade don't get me safe lift at 1700 rpm. I decided to use normal 425mm blades. With them I get better lift without increasing the rotor speed.

Final weight: 3.528 kg without battery
4.208 kg with 4500 mAh nano tech battery
Flight time with 20% left in the battery: 00:10:30 hrs

Here is the video I made out:

Hey I had the same issues with the Cnc tails I got the one you purchased and the Apache style for well my Apache. Both had terriable pitch sliders. I ended up mixing parts from my align slider and modding it to fit their housing and it works beatifully. (After removing all the glued bearing) when I contacted cnc about the issues he said "fly it it will we fine" like you I want willing to risk so I just rebuilt to my standards. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=760527

Sorry couldn't figure out how to pm pics so here it is. As I said in the pm this can be easily done with a dremel, fine file, a drill and green 648 retaining compound or similar. Click image for larger version

Size:	42.7 KB
ID:	703654 you will need a pitch slider assembly and a extra slider bushing (white) cut where the red lines are use the dremel to work those side to get them close to the rounded areas where you didn't cut. Then with the extra busing thread the cut piece onto it and put the extra bushing into the drill setting the direction of rotation so the when you apply pressure it threads on. Carefully take down the high spots and slowly work it till it a press fit. Then most importantly clean everything very well use the green 648 and allow full cure time. Don't rush this process without a lathe shut or with one. Lol Click image for larger version

ID:	703653 this is the end goal to make a press fit threaded insert to allow the use of the align bearing and bushing. Any more questions please feel free to ask!

on what part you thread in the extra bushing?
the align one ( the cut piece) already has a busing in.

You need to remove the brass bushing and the bearing holder with the ball on the cnc parts, how you do that? you drill the brass bushing from the opposit side of the bearing holder?

Use the extra bushing in the drill so one doesn't get messed up by the chuck.
