Default Best way to remove green isolation

Hi.

Is there any good way to remove the green isolation? I like to exchange it with a GFK plate.

Can I sand it?

Cheers
Nils

Just curious if you had not initially chipped the powder coating why did you want to remove it and use GFK?

There was a larger part broken away. The other side is fine and there I will keep the powder coating.
