Default Anybody used Slowflyworld rewinds?

Anybody uses them or know about their re-winded motor's performance?

http://slowflyworld.de/artikelauswah...ld~Motortuning

Looks reasonably priced, especially compared to me getting all the tools and materials to do it myself.

why do you think, such commercial rewinded motor will have another performance as a hobby- rewind as far as they use the same number of turns and thickness of copper wire?

may be this is the better idea:
why you don't ask stolla (also from south africa) to help you, instead of sending something around the world?

Stolla a very busy man!! Made contact with them and they will do the rewind to a new motor or you can send in your own, still cheaper than me getting up to speed to do it myself.

Thanks Ralph

Finally got my Pyro 520 back from www.slowflyworld.de. I sent it on May 15 from California, USA and recieved it on July 14.

I asked for the motor to be wound with flat wire, but he re-wound it with 1.4mm round wire. Looks like a delta termination too (although I'm not sure about this - it doesn't look anything like the YY termination patterns I've seen on this forum). Slightly disappointed, but I guess he doesn't do YY windings for whatever reason. I guess he just gave me the Pyro "Black Edition" rewind.

I'll give a flight report and some JLogs when I get it installed in my TDR.
