Best place to order XK k120???
Wondering if anyone has ordered from Tomtop.com? I ordered a new XK k120 about a week ago. I got an order confirmation, but nothing else. No shipping confirmation. Just wondering if that money is gone and I should order another one from somewhere else. And if so...where did you order from?

I've ordered quite a few things from TomTop, they are legit. If you paid via paypal, you have no worries.
It is typical for Chinese vendors to not have stock of a particular item, but they take your money and send it when they get it in stock. Usually they get stock within 1-2 weeks, otherwise they just cancel your order. |

Both of my K120's came from banggood. One is parts now. I wish I'd have bought a second K110 instead. The K120 isn't very crash resistant. The servo saver mod is a must if you get one.

It's where you cut slits in the servo horns so they will slip on a crash instead of stripping out the servo gears. The servos on the K120 break very easy if you don't do it.
Take a look at #38 on this thread: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...=751386&page=2 |

Oh no, bummer. I'm still waiting on my order of feathering shafts. Waited a couple weeks and then realized BG shipped a wrong part. Lol oh well, got a free set of servo pushrods but now waiting again for my replacement feathering shafts. Flying just over grass meanwhile

Yep, I'm that someone, Sorry JP. Ordered from tomtop 12/31, received 1/14. Though I didn't get a shipping confirmation either. Had to login to their site and check the status.
Still no word on my bangood order after it hit the US, so it's a crapshoot. |

Just received my K110 from Tomtop.com- paid $18 for Priority Shipping, which comes out to about the same cost ordering from any other site. It was at my door in 6 days, China to California. Only kicker is they used DHL w/ signature confirmation, so I had to be home for the package.

avoid buying anything from gearbest.
i had a xk110 arrive with one servo DOA. after sending pictures videos and even thermal images of the overheating servo, they admitted it was DOA they then deleted the message history and told me that they would not replace it. extremely dishonest company cheers adrian |

I've had the best luck with Banggood, and Tomtop is OK as long as you buy from them through ebay where you can easily dispute problems. I don't think they have an official ebay account, but many of the k110 suppliers on ebay are actually Tomtop.

I just ordered a second k110, this time from Tomtop to test them out. The price was crazy low and no shipping cost. The page said US warehouse, with same day shipping and 3-5 days for delivery. In fact, it shipped a week later, and will take another week to go 300 miles from NJ to my house - a trip that's normally 1 day. My guess is they didn't really have it in their US warehouse, they were simply shipping it from the US warehouse after sending it there from China.
I don't care about the few days, but those kind of games don't really impress. I'll take honesty and service over a little savings any day. I've placed easily more than 2 dozen orders with Banggood with only one issue of longer than expected delivery. Their estimates are pretty good, and you know where it's coming from.

I ordered my k110 from tomtop. The stock was specified to be in China. I took the no cost shipping. It arrived in California on the 8th day.
I could see in my tomtop account the order status and the tracking number. The tracking was Fedex and the tracking started once it arrived in LA. The last leg of the delivery was by the post office! vl |

Best place to order XK K120???
I ordered several things from Tomtop. All went good until I ordered a K110 in the middle of June. It was sent and Fedex lost it June 30 2017 Fedex confirmed it was lost as their last tracking was as June 30 this was on July 11th. I contacted Tomtop July 11th and several times after. They keep telling me to please wait another week or a few more days then another week. It's like a form letter they send out. None of my questions have been answered. Seems like all is good until something bad happens then customer service is non existent. It looks like I will have to file dispute with Paypal and hopefully they will take care of it.
I think this will end dealing with Tomtop for me. |

I'm ordering pretty much everything for these type of helicopters from Banggood (to Germany). It's a good idea to pay the premium for "priority delivery" which is 3 EUR (I guess +$3,50) and it arrives very consistently within 15 days.
The first K120 I ordered actually got lost somewhere in the Netherlands and they refunded the money with no questions asked. They put a somewhat low value of the items on the packaging so I seldom pay (german) taxes, which feels kind of wrong but I didn't find any information on how to properly pay the tax even if I wanted to. |
