Info from Rotor Live booth: Release date shall be Juli / August 2017. Kit price about 1100 EUR. Weight with Pyro 750 and Kosmik about 4750g (not sure about the lipos). I will upload more Photos on Piroflip.de today.

The info sheet is in German
Jan did the demo flight for it on 7s, but they did have another model on 12s.
Its a 700 size heli.
Max 12s
You need to give deposit of 200 euro and remainder later.
For delivery july/august.
Any questions you want answers post and I'll ask.

Actually called TDF(un), so it replaces the original TDR as a lightweight durable drive train helicopter for some nice low rpm flights. Swings 690-720mm blades.

It weighs 3,7kg with 7S and JivePro ESC or 4.7kg with 12S and Kosmik.

It has belt driven tail and OWB is incorporated inside the motor pinion/taildrive system. As the photos shows it uses the LDS for all cyclic servos. Tailboom is aluminium and appears to be exact same as original TDR.

I really like this! Till this day my TDR 1 is still my favorite heli as its so "floaty" and flight times are always around the 9-11min mark.

This light weight heli is what I have been waiting for. So I'm on the list and my money is ready. I have moved away from the heavy powered setups to more playful relaxed fun flights.

Going to be another great heli from Jan, I believe the manual will be very similar to TDR2. Design seems very similar in some aspects.

Cant go wrong with Henseleit!

This is pretty cool. I think this the TDR line of machines in the hands of many more people depending on quantities offered.

It looks like the twin brother to the Banshee.

I think most of us like the TDR I as a lightweight flier, so discontinuing that model when the much stouter TDR II was released left a hole in the market.

I think the TDF makes sense when kept in production alongside the TDR II.

What size is that main shaft? it looks massive!

It's a nice surprise and I think it's a good addition. It has enough innovative new features to set it apart from other brands.

I still think it's hard to improve on the original TDR for simplicity. I don't remember exactly what mine weighs but it's not far behind, it's very light on pairs of 3500-4000mah packs.

Correct and wrong
Yes the tail is driven from the motor pinion, but the Autorotation bearing is also there so it has got a driven tail.

It's a lot more rigid than the TDR 1
the mechanic is bomb proof like on the TDRII but super light weight. it has 2 X braces that can't be seen unless your looking for them.
Midi servos to full size servos can be used and no need for programmable servos and old servo will do with the linear linkage, on this model,
