Is Futaba working on something after the 750GY
Title says it all. I hope they plan to release something to follow up the 750GY. Preferably something that will utilize SBus2.

I would really like them to retain the seperate sensor unit. I really don't like the lack of versatility in an all in one unit, particularly for glow and petrol helicopters.

I like the idea of an optional one like VBar.

Well I think the hardware package is out of date and needs some work. Like the pinpoint sensors drive the price up and are not able to add rescue support. Further it would be wise to add better support for other transmitters. And sbus(3) which would allow full configuration from the transmitter. But all this in a current market is to expensive to create....

Yeah, I would just like a really good reason to move my fleet over. There are just a few features that I would like that they can't provide with the current hardware.

From the beginner to expert menus what other configurations do you want? Its all there. Data logging and rescue I guess are nice features but the other design philosophy is to just stick to the core of what a FBL is for and do it very well. Has sensor tech really improved at this consumer level? The new beast and Ikon 2 talk about faster processor speed but don't mention if the sensor is any different.
I say keep the costs in line and don't chase unnecessary hardware redesigns. Everyone seems to accept buying new hardware every year but is it really necessary? It works and you don't need a PC or extra Bluetooth adapter to program it. |

The best sensor currently on the market is the mpu 6000 which is used by almost any company. But the hardware has some issues regarding governor and transmitter only futaba. If they bring something out to program it fully through mu 18SZ I would switch immediately

I used to be all Futaba but it seems to me like they are falling behind in innovation. Hard to compete with all the functionality of the V-Bar system or the versatility of the Jeti.
