Default Does T-Rex 150X have "Piro Compensation"

Frankly I had no idea what "Piro Compensation" was until I got a HCP60. Immediately it was obvious that when I did a yaw, the heli rotated on its mainshaft axis like a coaxial heli.

My T-Rex 150(non-x) won't do that, and the sideways slide when it yaws, makes indoor flying to tricky.

So I wondered if the new 150X has "Piro Compensation" in the "6-Axis" mode?

i would suggest you download the 150 grs app and check out each of the settings to give you an idea of what settings are availiable for your needs. the app is small so the download will be quick and free.

Just wondered if anyone flying the 150X noticed any Piro Compensation compared to the 150.

I don't have the old 150 but the 150X definitively has piro comp.
It piro nice and flat, probably the best I have seen in that size heli.

They both (150 and 150x) have piro comp. The swash has to be level for them to work correctly though.

Hi, I have a question. Even if my swash isn't perfectly level, it can still fly well in both 3g/6g modes I guess probably due to gyro. So does it mean my piro comp can't work well even if it flies well in 3g/6g modes? I noticed the piro comp doesn't work well (it will drift away sometimes). Is it because I didn't care to level the swash?

Yes, gyro works ok with unlevel swash, but piros don't.

This model is so small and light, even with piro comp and level swash, it will start to drift after a couple of spins without correction to keep it in one place. The piro comp keeps it generally on axis without allowing it to shoot off in one direction, like the old blade micros did before piro comp.

You still have to fly the piros to keep it absolutely in one spot.

My 150 does rapid piros fine in one place. The issue is a slow yaw. The heli drifts to the heli's left.As far as I know all clockwise main rotors with tail rotors blowing to the left do this. Small helis are worse.

My 150 flies as if it has no compensation for this.

I second that.

This heli is amanzingly 3D capable. It behaves alike bigger helis in many of the 3D maneuvers. The only thing it misses is autorotation capabilities. Of course, this is something to expect from its size and drive train design.
