You weren't kidding! I destroyed 3 till I got one I am OK to sell. I had some hardware for this one but I ordered some screws and washers for future mounts.

I set up a jig tonight to drill the holes so its much easier and they come out nice and uniform.

Thanks for the idea Chas. I'm going to put one on my 500. Since I have a futab receiver with a deans antenna, I may put the receiver on top and the antenae underneath. This opens up some new options for where you can place things.

I still think I would put the Rx on the lower tray for now, until the static issue is resolved. The Futaba may or may not be affected, I don't know. LMK

Rick,

I have to tell you, I had a little "flutter", "wag" or whatever you want to call it, when I had the gyro mounted on top of the boom block. Since I moved the gyro to the new Rx tray, it is rock solid. No shakes, rattles or rolls here. Glad you decided to do this.

Thanks again man.

No problem. Glad to do it. I was looking for something new to build anyhow. I ordered button head screws to go with them but I don't like how small the hex heads were so I reordered socket heads to go with them. They should be in shortly. Glad it helped you out!

Thanks for the nice words JCP. Looks like you put that baby to good use. I've been getting PMs so I made up 5 more. I'll send them in the order that I receive PMs for them.

Default Yes, I am selling them

I've been getting emails because they are not on my site yet. My webmaster (finless) is slacking off having fun in Hawaii! When he returns, we'll get them on the site. In the mean time just email or PM me.

And no, ReadyHeli doesn't have them yet. I'm just now getting ready to make larger quantities. Been busy working off the "Honey Do" list.

They are $16. $18.50 shipped to US. $21 shipped anywhere else in the world. They come with the hardware pictured.

Thanks
Rick

Hey, great to have you back. Aloha!
Check your email, I sent you a pic last weekend. Let me know if you don't see it.
If you are too busy, don't worry about it. We'll get it in when you return.

Thanks
Rick

This mount is awesome! Fits my logictech gryo and ar7000 rx with ease and with more space to spare! Will be maidening this heli soon with my 20c v2 evolites. Hopefully with this mount and grounding the heli I won't come accross static lockouts! Thanks Rick for the nice mount!

Sweet setup! You are quite welcome! I love seeing my parts out there.

Take out 4 screws and you have easy access to everything.

Also, if you have to replace the plastic bottom, you don't have to disrupt any electronics. I like that!

Good luck on the maiden!

Rick

Default Ready Heli

I heard from Ready Heli. They will be stocking these shortly for about the same price.

Hey Rick,

Just saw the web site, looks great. I can't express how much better this is, over the stock Rx tray. Good job man.

I got one of Rick's mounts, but am waiting for my AR 7000 receiver (due tomorrow). I really like it; perfect fit! No photo's coming....would just be redundant. Thanks for a great product Rick!
