Default Which size Cyclones do you want to see next? We want your feedback!

Hey guys! I've seen your posts about new blade sizes you would like to see. I would like to consolidate all of those requests here in this thread....

15 months ago Cyclone blades was born with the introduction of 695mm main blades, nearly 18 months of development work went into the research on the airfoil, tip design, and overall internal construction of the blade. Utilizing resources never before used in RC helicopter Blade design, Resulting in flight characteristics that have never before been simultaneously achieved, Excellent high speed tracking and razor sharp cyclic response regardless of forward speed. Released in March 2013, initial response from pilots has been overwhelmingly positive, requiring production schedules to quadruple just to keep up with demand! Thanks to you helifreaks Cyclone Blades was quickly able to expand into smaller blade sizes with 615, 555, and 505mm main blades in half the time it took to develop the original 695mm main blades. Based on the once again overwhelming positive reviews of these new main blades, matching Tail blades in the form of 115, 105, 95, and 80mm are on the cusp of full public release at the end of August. Making their debut at the 2014 IRCHA Jamboree, pilots have shown great interest in the advanced airfoil and tip design on Cyclone Tail blades. Being hailed as "not just another tail blade" Initial feedback from the lucky few who have had the opportunity to use the tail blades all confirm the intended design goals of Cyclone Tail blades have been made a reality....Significantly reduced "buzz" even on high ratio tail rotors with high headspeed, sharp, yet dampened response for tail reversals. Cyclone tails promise to be just as game changing in flight performance as the Main Blades.

Due to expanded production capability, distribution, and the support of all you helifreaks Cyclone Blades is continuing to expand the line up of blades ASAP. The Question is what do YOU helifreaks want to see next?

As of right now we plan to produce Cyclone 715mm 3d blades, 715mm Speed Blades, 435mm 3d blades, and 365mm 3d blades, along wiith 65mm tails to match for all you high performance 6s powered 450 pilots! These are the most popular requests we receive, but we are open to any and all suggestions! Maybe Cyclone 755's? Even bigger?

Let us know and we'll make it happen!

Wooohoooo! 755 and 795 would complete the lineup I would think.

Are you really bent on doing 365's ?
That would kinda limit the choice of helis you can put them on.
The mini prôtos (stretch obviously) for one is at its limit with 360's and 60mm tail blades.
The Gaui X3 in TT configuration is at it's limit as well with 360's and 68mm tail blades (and you have to run 68's on the X3 for a decent tail at lower rpms).

I think 355's would be a better option to allow mounting on more helicopters.
360's would work as well but you guys seem to really like the 5mm

65mm carbon tail blades are good though

I would certainly buy 355's and 65's for my mini prôtos.

I'm not sure how Cyclones are measured... if they are 365 tip to tip they should be fine for most models.

Oh right.
The lengths I am talking of are from bolt-hole to tip.

That's what I figured. 365 bolt to tip would be a bit too long for all of the current machines out there. It will be fine for the Chase 360 and the Goblin 380 both coming soon.

All size Cyclones are measured from the Center of the bolt hole to the very tip of the trailing edge....

That's what I figured, that's also the way most blade are marketed (also the way that makes the most sense).

So yeah 365's wouldn't fit on most of the current 450's (stretch mini prôtos, TT Gaui X3, unsure about Warp 360 and T-rex 450L).

435mm 3D mains and 80mm tail will do perfectly on my heli, Tim. Can't wait to try them. I've been looking for a new brand to settle on and stay with.

Yesterday I installed my new cyclone 695's in my 700 competition. I am very excited to try the next weekend.

I'm thinking of buying the new Goblin 380, it would be nice to have a 380mm Cyclons for this new helicopter .. I think the model will be a success and I think you should aim to make this measure of blades (365-380mm)
